1.1 Personal Identification Information
- Identity Data: Full name, phone number, and email address provided during registration.
- Driver & Partner Data: If you register as a driver or car owner, we collect your Driving License number, copies of your License, Vehicle Documents (Yellow Card), and CV.
- Profile Images: Personal photos uploaded to your user profile for identification purposes.
1.2 Location Data
- Real-Time Location: We collect precise geolocation data from drivers to track rides and from customers to set pickup locations. This enables our ride-hailing and delivery features.
- Background Location: Drivers may have their location tracked in the background to ensure accurate ride matching and safety monitoring.
1.3 Transaction & Usage Data
- Booking History: Details of the cars you rent, rides you request, and IT services you inquire about.
- Financial Data: We track your in-app wallet balance, withdrawal requests, and transaction history related to our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To create your account, verify your identity, process bookings, and connect you with drivers or vehicle owners.
- Verification & Safety: To verify that renters possess valid licenses and that partners legally own the vehicles listed. This ensures the safety of all users.
- Communication: To send you status updates regarding your bookings, payment confirmations, or important service announcements via the App or WhatsApp.
- Improvement: To analyze usage trends and improve the functionality and user experience of our Platform.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share your information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: Vehicle owners (Partners) and Drivers receive your name and phone number once a booking is confirmed to facilitate the service.
- Third-Party Services:
- Google Firebase: Used for secure authentication, database hosting, and notifications.
- Cloudinary: Used for securely hosting images and documents (Profile pics, Licenses, Yellow Cards).
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by Rwandan law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., traffic police or courts).
4. Data Retention and Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely on cloud servers provided by Google Firebase.
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, such as maintaining your account and history, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
5. Your Rights and Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us.
Deleting Your Account
You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the App by navigating to Profile > Delete My Account. This action is irreversible and will remove your personal information, booking history, and wallet data from our active systems.
